For the beginner, a golf set is often the most economical means to purchase clubs. Retailers package these sets to be less expensive than purchasing all the clubs individually. Many sets can be customized in both contents and sizing.

A quality golf set can often be found for less than 300 dollars. However, for more advanced players, sets can get quite a bit more expensive. High end club sets, which often include graphite shafts and other technological upgrades, can often go as high as 900-1000 dollars.
