Golf Putters
Golf putters are
strictly for use on the green. They are designed to push the ball across
the green, not for lift or distance. Every golfer needs a putter.
Because putting requires exacting technique and control of the ball,
quality golf putters are designed to provide a smooth swing with an
even distribution of weight. Modern putters often have a shaft that
is bent near the club head to ensure it lies parallel to the ground
through out the stroke. Some golfers prefer long shaft putters because
they help create a more stable swing, which can improve one’s
short game.
Modern golf putters are much more high-tech than they have been in
the past. They can any number of methods to absorb vibration and redistribute
weight to the perimeter of the club. This is usually achieved through
polymer cores or inserts.
