Because golf often requires standing in the sun on hot summer days, most golfers include a hat in their golf equipment. Most common is the baseball style cap, but wide-brimmed hats are also quite popular. These hats are often designed to allow air flow through in order to help keep you cool.

Most people consider gloves to be a vital piece of golf equipment. Sweaty hands make a secure grip on the club difficult, at best. Most gloves are made from soft leather for both comfort and grip.
