While golf clubs are the most obvious, there are other pieces of golf equipment that are common to the game. Because golf often requires standing in the sun on hot summer days, most golfers include a hat in their golf equipment. Most common is the baseball style cap, but wide-brimmed hats are also quite popular. These hats are often designed to allow air flow through in order to help keep you cool.

Most people consider gloves to be a vital piece of golf equipment. Sweaty hands make a secure grip on the club difficult, at best. Most gloves are made from soft leather for both comfort and grip.
